Happy Halloween everybody!! I hope your all having a good one. I’m stuck in the library all night studying for a religion test.  Is anyone else going home this weekend besides Dan and Dave?

“Straining Week”

October 29th, 2007

Well, this is it. My next blog. It only took me like what, a year. Life has been so busy, I haven’t even been able to see really any of my friends, except for Smith because he is the only other one that goes home.  I started my second year of school and am almost done with the semester.  I’ve been getting ready for baseball season already, but that came to a halt last week when I was lifting.  I was trying to look all big and buff because there was some of the football players in the weight room at the time, and I didn’t really realize what I was doing until I lifted it up.  I was squatting and I kind of forgot how much it was and by the time I got it off, I was basically down to the ground.  After that I realized I was pretty sore, and it kept hurting more and more the next couple of days. So I went to the doctor and she had to “feel around”, and told me that I pulled my groin muscle. It was probably the most embarassing thing that has happened to me in a long time.  Especially in front of alot of those big football players.  On a good note though,  I went to watertown to the orthodontist and after went to Roy’s Sport Shop.  I was talking with the cashier about our legion season this summer on how well we did. After we talked for a while, he told me that he had heard of me and thought I was a really good pitcher. He also told me that he was a scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates (which is a major league baseball team).  I was pretty excited about that and told me that he was going to come up and watch me this spring and told me that he would keep in touch with me. Now hopefully, I will be able to keep up with this blog business.

After waiting so long, I finally have time to write my next post. Its been years since I have written my last post and alot has gone on since I have posted last. I have been to Florida and back and been to the Cities about 10 times in the last month for baseball. This week is finals week and all I can say is, Finally!! Luckily, I dont have any finals except for a Pre-calc test and one final paper. I would be excited to get out of here, but I have another 2 weeks left until that will happen because of baseball. Hopefully, this weekend Tony will come and watch me pitch after he has said that he would for about 2 months now. We are bad, but we can’t get as bad as the Twins right now. Except for Neshek, right Smith?

The days of Hell!!

February 3rd, 2007

So first of all this week, once we got back from Ortonville, I brought a futon back. Whitney and I hauled it up a couple of flights of stairs. Just a little advice, make sure your dorm room has elevators. Let me tell you, that was hell. It took about an hour to haul up the frame and the mattress. The next day I had to write three papes for class. That was another day that i wish would have flown by. Tuesday, was the longest day of my life. I had class at 7:30 in the morning and didnt get done with classes that day until 2:30. Afterwards, I immediately started on other homework that we had to do for other classes. Now, Im starting to notice why Cory quit. Concordia sucks. Wednesday was kind of my slack day, Until Whitney decides she thinks we need to start working out. I have never been so sore in my life. I shouldn’t have worked out because, not only was this week hell, it only got worse, baseball started. If you want to be a pitcher, make sure your in shape, i have ran at least 5 miles in the past 3 days. It is not going well. Well, I am 90% positive that I will be a starter on the varsity, which means this week ended well because if your on varsity, that means over spring break, we get to go to Florida to play a little baseball. I was pretty pumped for that. Just a little advice to end this, Don’t ever go to Concordia if you dont wanna work your tail off, otherwise you will end up like my roomate. lol Sorry!! ha

First Post!!

January 20th, 2007

Well, this is my first post of all time. I don’t really know what to write for my first post, but I am pretty excited about this because now I can tell of you people my boring life. Sounds like fun, huh? Well, not really.

I just transferred to Concordia last week for the second semester. So far, I am loving it here. I am living in Livedalen hall where all of the “weird” people live. They seem pretty nice, but I guess I call them weird because all they do is either play Guitar Hero or shoot each other with nerf guns. I mean the Guitar Hero gets a little out of hand here. I was just leaving for class yesterday at 7:30 in the morning and some guy had his door wide open and playing Guitar Hero. There were about five guys in there. That’s pretty dedicated. Hopefully, some of you guys will get a chance to come up and meet all these “delightful” people. Hopefully you like reading my posts, because there will be alot more of them, thanks to Miles.!!
