Biggest Loser

It’s a snow day today. We got somewhere around 1-4 inches of snow and we’re supposed to have ice and rain coming. With that we were more or less granted permission to work from home, which is what I’m doing.

There is so much work I’ve been wanting to do that strictly involves my database but not picking up the phone. And when you do work like that in the office, they look at your phone stats the next day and get mad.

So, for the biggest loser contest, thus far, I am not pleased with my results. I’ve lost a few pounds, but am no where near any of my goals. I had originally planned on doing 2-adays. Running in the morning, lifting at night. But, I’ve gotten lazy. I’ve gotten lazy in every respect, I haven’t cut out eating, I’m not working out as hard, and I’m not working out as long as I should.

Lindsey has been out in Washington DC the last few days. During that time I met up with my buddy Phil, and another night met up with my buddy Mike. What sucked was I fed everyone’s cats while they were away. One of the friends lives where Linds and I used to live. Which is about a 15 minute drive. That’s like having to feed someone’s cats in Correll.

Because I had some time today, I made a TV dinner in the over, as opposed to the microwave. And it was sooo much better. So, tell your grandkids, ovens are better.

This is a ramblin’ post, but I wanted you all to know what I’ve eaten, why I’m not at work, and how the diet is going. Pay it forward.
