I now crave “Call of Ktulu” by Metallica for Guitar Hero!! If you listen to Metallica (early Metallica anyways) and haven’t heard that song, check it out. Chances are, my readers don’t. Sad face.
I would say, since you’re all changing the way you listen to music, listen to it and imagine in on GH. Rumor has it GHIII will be 80’s songs.
Anyone try the GH hacks? I don’t want to break the PS2.
“Bryce, you and Linds have GH? Tell me and the rest of the readers out there the story…pleaseeee”
Ok, Holli. Saturday night I somehow was cut by around 9:30pm which meant GH with the Forensix. Went down to Megan and Dominic’s and played the tutorial and some of the songs on GHI and then GHII. They have 2 guitars. Nice. During the second friggin’ song Linds declared that we had to buy one. I wasn’t convinced yet, but she was and that’s all that matters.
Sunday after work we bought GHI (actually LINDSEY bought it) and a wireless guitar. While she jammed out I bought GHII and guitar bundled together. It came today, but no one was there to sign for it, tomorrow I guess.
Anyone excited about the SuperBowl?? We’re having a party if you’re interested. I’m thinking chips and dig, beer, wings maybe?? Should be fun.
Also, I think I’m having a heart arrhythmia. I looked it up and it looks like stress, alcohol, caffeine and others cause it and it’s usually not a big deal. So, Miles, that’s what it was. You must’ve been stressed and then when whatever you were stressed about ended you were fine.
I ain’t no woman and I ain’t going to get it looked at until I’m skerd!

Good Saturday Bloggers:
First:
Wow. Lauren Smith, I had no idea. Though I highly doubt she reads Plethora I’ll mention her anyway. It appears she does some filming on the side. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check her out on youtube, I’m too lazy to grab you a link, but go to Awayken’s favorites, it’s there. While you’re there make sure to subscribe to Newsbleep.
Second:
I finally closed a deal at ADP. I have all the paperwork, the papers are signed, I just have to fill in the order and send it to New Jersey, then to Chesapeake, VA. The deal is worth about $1100, I should get about 33 percent commission.
Third:
I am wanting to upgrade my computer, I need RAM, MOBO, and Processor. Here is what I need it for: some gaming (Call of Duty 2, BF2, Age of Empires 3, Doom 3), video editing, music, dvd burning, and I would like to get it setup that we can hook it up to the tv and watch stuff from my harddrive on the tv, it’d be great for youtube and newsbleeps. I know very little about this stuff. Please please please give me recommendations. I hope to hear something from Chet/Dan/Miles/Boy for sure. Chet cause he’s a builder, Dan cause he’s smart, Miles cause he does video editing already and Boy cause he’s been there, too.
Forth:
I work this weekend, hosting saturday and serving sunday. I look forward to the money and don’t look forward to the actual jobs.
Random:
Linds and I watched Jackass 1 and 2 this week. Wow. We chose not to burn it, we had seen it, not the kind of film you can watch twice in a year. It’s hard not to vomit sometimes.
Went out to eat at a nice place, Bensi. That was good.
Once we get a house our first dog, besides linds’ hunting dog, may be a Boxer. Who knows.
Tonight, hell or high water (is that the phrase?) we play Guitar Hero. And then let the shit hit the fan.
I love Miles’ ideas for 2006 awards, however I don’t know about you, I went through my old posts and picked out my favorite 2 and THEN went to Miles’ forms page, there are multiple categories, so it’ll take longer than I thought.
Have fun in Madison, those who went, have a nice weekend.

I’m at the end of my lunch break so figured I should heed David’s threats and post.
Congrats Miles and Holli. We all saw it coming a mile(s) away.
Work:
What can I say, I’m busy busy busy. ADP has been decent, calling on CPA’s looking for big business, but ran into some problems a couple weeks ago. The field rep in the area, whom I have been aware of for some time, had his manager give me a call. Apparently I had been stepping on his toes, being in touch with the accountants he’s been working with. So, I had my manager give him a call, he gave me a list of 17 accounting firms that I could have nothing to do with. To make matters worse, that same day an accountant I had called once and talked to for a while gave me a person’s name and business to get ahold of. I had to give it away.
Applebee’s is good. Serving some, hosting some. I like the people which is probably the only thing keeping me going there. There’s one kid, Phil, he’s a classic example of a Philadelphia guy. Foul mouth, wow. It’s great hearing him rant, he curses enough in general conversation, wait till he’s mad about something. He really wants to come to SD to see what it’s like, I informed him he wouldn’t like it. He would be bored to tears. But he insists.
Play:
PS2 mostly goes unplayed, Linds has her shows, I’m only home at night and sometimes during a weekend day so I don’t play much unless Linds wants to. Still haven’t played GH I, II, or any of them. We realize not all of the games we got were wise purchases, but whatcha gonna do?
The Cats:
They are fine. Bear is still flopping like mad and Bitty wakes Linds up every morning to purring and affection. They leave me alone as they know they should.
Computer:
Friday I should get a pretty big check, assuming we receive backpay for the raise and we receive our commish check, so maybe I’ll go and get my computer stuff. I need a processor, motherboard (mobo), and ram to go with the mobo. Any recommendations? I have a pretty awesome power supply already. I am pretty lost as to what to get from there. I can keep my case for now along with the dvd rw, dvd rom, sound card, graphics card, and A drive.

January 22nd, 2007
A lot has happened this week since being back in good ole Philly. Went back to work at ADP, still no sales, but focusing on CPA firms and hoping to break into some of those where the big money can be made.
I was feeling pretty good this week. I came home from work on Tuesday and Lindsey had purchased a Playstation 2, and the following games: NBA Jam, Madden 06, LOTR: Return of the King, College Hoops 2k6, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, World Tour Soccer 05, Resident Evil Outbreak, Strike Force Bowling, Cabela’s Outdoor Adventures, Cabela’s African Safari, Need for Speed Underground, and Tiger Woods 2006. Linds had purchased a handful of the games already, including some sports games, which surprised me. She was definitely confirming her bid for fiancee of the year.
By the way, I wanted her to post all week about it, even told Tony she would, but she refused.
Also, and most importantly I encountered a bit of a disappointment this weekend. Lindsey had told me that I worked just one shift, 4-9pm Hosting, easy as pie, I actually like that shift. So, I was on my way to the bank after stopping at the post office, and was thinking of all the things I wanted to do with my spare time, PS2, look up computer parts, watch some tv, whatever, the time was mine, ya know. For sure I was going to get a haircut. Also, Linds and I were going to go to the Philadelphia Museum of Art (where the famous steps are located that Rocky ran up. Exciting weekend right?
Wrong.
Linds was supposed to work 11-9pm so when we parted ways around 10:45am I was on my own for a few hours. Then the call.
Ring Ring.
BHello
LHey, um, Bryce, yeah, they said that you’re actually supposed to be at work right now, since 10.
Buh..but you said.
IL know, I’m sorry. You’re actually supposed to be serving right now, and then you host tonight, and you actually work a double tomorrow serving.
Bwhat?
LI know, I’m sorry
BBut you said.
LI know, can you be hear in like a half hour?
BI’m taking an hour.
LI’m sorry

I was soooo sad/pissed. All these fun big plans, relaxing, and exploring, all nixed.
I didn’t make great money, but decent, and I’m getting more comfortable serving. Linds did make matters easier by offering to train as a server all day Sunday, too. And it was cool cause Phil worked and he’s probably my best friend down there.
It was also a good time after I was told my shift was done (3 hrs early, yay) that we just sat and talked about all sorts of weird things at Applebee’s. I miss sitting around and chatting with friends about whatever comes to you. Doesn’t happen at ADP, and we don’t have a solid friend base here. One of the things I miss most, that’s for sure.
Now I have to relax some before starting it all over again.
(sigh)

This is the second time I started writing this. The first draft was very “sports column” like, and my audience probably wouldn’t appreciate such a post. Am I right?
I felt like Notre Dame might lose last night, and they did. Notre Dame lacked any confidence when it came to teams that could do any damage. Brady Quinn may or may not amount to anything in the pros, but he had a pretty good college career. I will admit, the team was overrated. They have an excellent recruitment class, it’ll be interesting next year.
Politics:
Rudy Giuliani is running for president. Do you think he can even carry NY, a very blue state?? So, here’s a thought. Would the Republicans want Rudy to run just to take votes away from Hilary, so she loses to Obama, a much more moderate liberal than Clinton? Can Rudy actually win? Is this McCain’s to lose? What other (R) candidates are looking strong?
Should be interesting.
Also, I got a raise. Giggidy Giggidy. Another $5k a year. Effective either next pay or the one after.
